PRIME BEEF GROWN LOCALLY

Full Moon Wagyu started as a dream, with a passion and a hand full of frozen embryos in 2012. The herd grew very slowly and methodically. We eventually purchased two live Wagyu mommas from a Wagyu breeder in Wyoming. Since then, the herd has grown to its current size, and the animals graze happily in picturesque pastures in Panton, VT.

OUR PRACTICES - NATURAL, LOCAL, QUALITY

  • Our entire herd is DNA tested and certified by the American Wagyu Association.

  • Genetic breeding choices are made based on proven scientific data for optimal marbling.

  • Our herd grazes on lush pasture land in the summer months and is supplemented with hay, Total Mixed Feed Ration, and grain when pasture is unavailable.

  • No added hormones or steroids.

  • No unnecessary antibiotic usage or medical interventions.

  • The target age for harvesting our wagyu is 30 to 36 months.

  • Every animal is cared for with love from day one until the point of harvest.
